قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِعْجَابُ الْمَرْءِ بِنَفْسِهِ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى ضَعْفِ عَقْلِهِ.

علی بن ابراہیم بن ہاشم نے موسیٰ بن ابراہیم المحاربی سے، انہوں نے الحسن بن موسیٰ سے، انہوں نے موسیٰ بن عبد اللہ سے، انہوں نے میمون بن علی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'کسی شخص کا اپنے آپ پر عجب اس کی عقل کی کمزوری کی دلیل ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim Bin Hashim, from Musa Bin Ibrahim Al Muharby, from Al Hassan Bin Musa, from Musa Bin Abdullah, from Maymoun Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘The one who is full of himself indicate upon the weakness of his own intellect’.
