سَأَلْتُ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ فَقَالَ هَادٍ لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ وَ هَادٍ لِأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ الْبَرْقِيِّ هُدَى مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَ هُدَى مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ .

علی بن محمد نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے یعقوب بن یزید سے، انہوں نے عباس بن ہلال سے روایت کی جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے الرضا (علیہ السلام) سے اللہ کے اس فرمان کے بارے میں پوچھا: 'اللہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور ہے' [24:35]، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: '(وہ) آسمان والوں کے لیے ہادی ہے اور زمین والوں کے لیے ہادی ہے۔' اور البرقی کی روایت میں: '(وہ) آسمان والوں کی ہدایت ہے اور زمین والوں کی ہدایت ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Al Abbas Bin Hilal who said, ‘I asked Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h35"><a href="/books/quran:24#h35">[24:35]</a></a> Allah is Light of the skies and the earth</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘A Guide for the inhabitants of the sky and a Guide for the inhabitants of the earth’. And in a report of Al-Barqy, ‘(He<sup>asws</sup> said): ‘A Guidance for the ones in the sky and a Guidance for the ones in the earth’.
