John Shaqi

قَبْضَتِكَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ رِزْقاً مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَسِبُ وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا أَحْتَسِبُ وَ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَفِظُ وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا أَحْتَفِظُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْ لِي حَاجَةً إِلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَلْبِسْنِي الْعَافِيَةَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي عَلَيْهَا الشُّكْرَ يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُولَدْ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا رَحِيمُ يَا مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ وَ رَبَّ الْأَرْبَابِ وَ سَيِّدَ السَّادَاتِ وَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اشْفِنِي بِشِفَائِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَ سُقْمٍ فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ أَتَقَلَّبُ فِي قَبْضَتِكَ .


Translation

And it is reported from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> (having said: ‘You should be saying): ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Who Caused us to wake up in the morning, and the Kingdom is for Him<sup>azwj</sup>; and Your<sup>azwj</sup> servant, and son of Your<sup>azwj</sup> servant, and son of Your<sup>azwj</sup> maid woke up in Your<sup>azwj</sup> Grip. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Sustain me from Your<sup>azwj</sup> Grace from where I have reckoned it and from where I have not reckoned it, and Protect me from where I can protect (myself) and from where I cannot protect (myself). O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Sustain me from Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Grace and do not Make a need to be for me to anyone from Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> creatures. O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Clothe me with the good health, and Grace me the gratefulness upon it. O One, O First, O Last! O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Who does not beget nor is He<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> begotten and there does not happen to be a match for Him<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>. O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! O Beneficent! O Merciful! O Owner of the Kingdom and Lord<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> of the worlds and Chief of the chiefs, and O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, O One there is no God except You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Intercede for me with Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Intercession from every illness and disease, for I am Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> servant and son of Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> servant, and I turn in Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Grip’.
