اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي وَ هَذَا النَّهَارَ خَلْقَانِ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَبْتَلِنِي بِهِ وَ لَا تَبْتَلِهِ بِي اللَّهُمَّ وَ لَا تُرِهِ مِنِّي جُرْأَةً عَلَى مَعَاصِيكَ وَ لَا رُكُوباً لِمَحَارِمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اصْرِفْ عَنِّيَ الْأَزْلَ وَ اللَّأْوَاءَ وَ الْبَلْوَى وَ سُوءَ الْقَضَاءِ وَ شَمَاتَةَ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَ مَنْظَرَ السَّوْءِ فِي نَفْسِي وَ مَالِي قَالَ وَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُمْسِي وَ يُصْبِحُ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبّاً وَ بِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) نَبِيّاً وَ بِالْقُرْآنِ بَلَاغاً وَ بِعَلِيٍّ إِمَاماً ثَلَاثاً إِلَّا كَانَ حَقّاً عَلَى اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْجَبَّارِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ وَ كَانَ يَقُولُ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا أَمْسَى أَصْبَحْنَا لِلَّهِ شَاكِرِينَ وَ أَمْسَيْنَا لِلَّهِ حَامِدِينَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا أَمْسَيْنَا لَكَ مُسْلِمِينَ سَالِمِينَ قَالَ وَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ أَمْسَيْنَا لِلَّهِ شَاكِرِينَ وَ أَصْبَحْنَا لِلَّهِ حَامِدِينَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَمَا أَصْبَحْنَا لَكَ مُسْلِمِينَ سَالِمِينَ .
Translation
From him, from Muhammad Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) raising it to Amir Al-<span class="iTxt">Momin</span>een<sup>asws</sup> that he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘(You should be saying), ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I<sup>asws</sup> and this day are two creations from Your<sup>azwj</sup> creations. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Neither Involve me with it nor involve it with me, and let not me be seen as audacious upon disobeying You<sup>azwj</sup>, nor as indulging in Your<sup>azwj</sup> Prohibitions. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Exchange from me the doom, and the adversities, and the afflictions, and the evil decisions, and the gloating of the enemies, and the evil scenes within myself and my wealth’. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘And there is none from a servant saying when it is evening and morning, ‘I am pleased with Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> as Lord<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, and with Al-Islam as Religion, and with Muhammad<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> as a Prophet<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, and with the Quran as notification, and with Ali<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> as an Imam<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>’, three times, except that he would have a right upon Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, the Mighty, the Compeller that He<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Pleases him on the Day of Judgment’. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘And he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> was saying when it was evening, ‘In the morning we are grateful to Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, and in the evening we are praising ones. So for You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> is the Praise just as we have come to You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> in the evening as subbmitters, safe’’. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘And when it was evening, he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘We have come to the evening as ones grateful to Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, and we have come to the morning has ones praising to Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, just as we had come to You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> as submitters, safe’’.
