اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَحْمَدُكَ وَ أَسْتَعِينُكَ وَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ أَصْبَحْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ وَ أُومِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ وَ أُوفِي بِعَهْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ أَصْبَحْتُ عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَ كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَ مِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَحْيَا وَ أَمُوتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي بِهِ وَ أَمِتْنِي إِذَا أَمَتَّنِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَ ابْعَثْنِي إِذَا بَعَثْتَنِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَبْتَغِي بِذَلِكَ رِضْوَانَكَ وَ اتِّبَاعَ سَبِيلِكَ إِلَيْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي وَ إِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَئِمَّتِي لَيْسَ لِي أَئِمَّةٌ غَيْرُهُمْ بِهِمْ أَئْتَمُّ وَ إِيَّاهُمْ أَتَوَلَّى وَ بِهِمْ أَقْتَدِي اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُمْ أَوْلِيَائِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ اجْعَلْنِي أُوَالِي أَوْلِيَاءَهُمْ وَ أُعَادِي أَعْدَاءَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ أَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ وَ آبَائِي مَعَهُمْ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>: ‘(You should be saying), ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! For You<sup>azwj</sup> is the Praise. I praise You<sup>azwj</sup> and seek Your<sup>azwj</sup> Assistance, and You<sup>azwj</sup> are my Lord<sup>azwj</sup> and I am Your<sup>azwj</sup> servant. I woke up in the morning upon Your<sup>azwj</sup> Covenant and Your<sup>azwj</sup> Promise, and I believe in Your<sup>azwj</sup> Promise and am loyal with Your<sup>azwj</sup> Covenant to what is my capacity. And there is neither Might nor Strength except with Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, Alone, there being no associate for Him<sup>azwj</sup>. And I testify that Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> is His<sup>azwj</sup> servant and His<sup>azwj</sup> Rasool<sup>saww</sup>. I woke up in the morning upon the nature of Al-Islam, and the sincere <span class="iTxt">Kalima</span> (phrase), and the Nation of Ibrahim<sup style="font-weight: normal">as</sup>, and Religion of Muhammad<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>. Upon that I live and would be dying, Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Willing. O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Cause me to live with what I am living with, and Cause me to die when You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Cause me to die, to be upon that, and Resurrect me when You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Resurrect me, to be upon that, seeking Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Pleasure with that, and seeking Your<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Way to You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> and seek my Backing, and to You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> I delegate my affairs. The Progeny<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> are my Imams<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, there being no Imams<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> for me apart from them. By them<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> I follow and it is them<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> I befriend, and by them I am Guided. O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Make them as my Guardians<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> in the world and the Hereafter, and Make me a friend of their<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> friends, and an enemy of their<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> enemies in the world and the Hereafter, and Join me up with the righteous ones, and my forefathers with them’.
