اسْتَأْذَنْتُ عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فَخَرَجَ إِلَيَّ وَ شَفَتَاهُ تَتَحَرَّكَانِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَقَالَ أَ فَطَنْتَ لِذَلِكَ يَا ثُمَالِيُّ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ قَالَ إِنِّي وَ اللَّهِ تَكَلَّمْتُ بِكَلَامٍ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ أَحَدٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ مَا أَهَمَّهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاهُ وَ آخِرَتِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَخْبِرْنِي بِهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ أُمُورِي كُلِّهَا وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَ عَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ مَا أَهَمَّهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاهُ وَ آخِرَتِهِ
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘I sought permission to (meet) Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, so he<sup>asws</sup> came out to me and his<sup>asws</sup> lips were moving. So I told him<sup>asws</sup>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘You realised that O Sumaly?’ I said, ‘Yes, may I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>!’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I<sup>asws</sup> spoke with a speech what no one would speak with it at all, except Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Suffice him for what worries him from the matters of his world and his Hereafter’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘Inform me of it’. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘The one who says when he goes out from his house, ‘In the Name of Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Suffices me. I rely upon Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>. O Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! I ask You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> of the goodness in my affairs, all of them, and I seek Refuge with You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> from the disgrace of the world and the Punishment of the Hereafter’, Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> will Suffice him for whateve worries him from the matters of his world and his Hereafter’.
