أَنَّ الَّذِي دَعَا بِهِ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَلَى دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ حِينَ قَتَلَ الْمُعَلَّى بْنَ خُنَيْسٍ وَ أَخَذَ مَالَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُطْفَى وَ بِعَزَائِمِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُخْفَى وَ بِعِزِّكَ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقَضِي وَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُحْصَى وَ بِسُلْطَانِكَ الَّذِي كَفَفْتَ بِهِ فِرْعَوْنَ عَنْ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Abu Ismail Al Sarraj, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that the supplication with which Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> supplicated against Dawood Bin Ali when he killed Al-Moalla Bin Khunays and seized the wealth of Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> was: ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I<sup>asws</sup> ask You<sup>azwj</sup> by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Light Which cannot be extinguished, and by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Determination which is not hidden, and by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Might which cannot expire, and by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Favours which cannot be counted, and by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Authority which suffice Musa<sup>as</sup> from Pharaoh<sup>la</sup>’’.
