سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَ عَزَّ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ فَقَالَ يَا فُضَيْلُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ فِي الْكُرْسِيِّ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ وَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ فِي الْكُرْسِيِّ .

محمد بن اسماعیل نے فضل بن شاذان سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے ربعی بن عبد اللہ سے، انہوں نے فضیل بن یسار سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اللہ جل و عز کے قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: 'اس کی کرسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو گھیرا ہوا ہے' [2:255]۔ پس آپ نے فرمایا: 'اے فضیل! ہر چیز کرسی میں ہے — آسمان اور زمین، اور ہر چیز کرسی میں ہے'۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazan, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Rabie Bin Abdullah, from Al Fuzayl Bin Yasaar who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Majestic and Mighty <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h255"><a href="/books/quran:2#h255">[2:255]</a></a> His Chair extends over the skies and the earth</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘O Fuzayl! Everything is in the Chair (الْكُرْسِيِّ). The skies, and the earth and everything, is in the Chair (الْكُرْسِيِّ)’.
