سِتَّةُ أَشْيَاءَ لَيْسَ لِلْعِبَادِ فِيهَا صُنْعٌ الْمَعْرِفَةُ وَ الْجَهْلُ وَ الرِّضَا وَ الْغَضَبُ وَ النَّوْمُ وَ الْيَقَظَةُ .

محمد بن ابی عبد اللہ نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے علی بن اسباط سے، انہوں نے حسین بن زید سے، انہوں نے درست بن ابی منصور سے، انہوں نے اس شخص سے جس نے انہیں روایت بیان کی، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: چھ چیزیں ایسی ہیں جن میں بندوں کا کوئی دخل نہیں: معرفت، جہل، رضا، غضب، نیند اور بیداری۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ali Bin Asbat, from Al Husayn Bin Zayd, from Dorost Bin Abu Mansour, from the one who narrated it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Six things, there isn’t a the servants to play a role with regards to these – The recognition, and the ignorance, and the pleasure, and the anger, and the sleep, and the waking up (from the sleep)’.
