ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ایک مذکور شخص سے، انہوں نے محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلی سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: تم صالح نہیں ہو سکتے جب تک پہچانو نہیں، اور پہچانو نہیں سکتے جب تک تصدیق نہ کرو، اور تصدیق نہیں کر سکتے جب تک چار دروازوں کے سامنے تسلیم نہ ہو جاؤ — جن کا پہلا آخری کے بغیر درست نہیں۔ تین والے گمراہ ہوئے اور دور کی سرگردانی میں پڑ گئے۔ بے شک اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ صرف نیک عمل قبول فرماتا ہے اور اللہ صرف شرطوں اور عہدوں کی وفاداری قبول فرماتا ہے۔ پس جو اللہ عزوجل کی شرط کے ساتھ وفادار رہا اور اس کے عہد میں بیان کردہ پر عمل کیا، اس نے اس کے پاس جو ہے وہ پا لیا اور جو اس نے وعدہ کیا تھا وہ مکمل کر لیا۔ بے شک اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے بندوں کو ہدایت کے راستے بتائے اور اس میں ان کے لیے روشنی کے مینار نصب کیے اور انہیں بتایا کہ کیسے چلیں۔ پس فرمایا: "اور میں ضرور معاف کرنے والا ہوں اس کو جو توبہ کرے اور ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے پھر ہدایت پر قائم رہے۔" [20:82] اور فرمایا: "اللہ صرف متقین سے قبول کرتا ہے۔" [5:27] پس جو اللہ سے ڈرے اس بارے میں جو اس نے حکم دیا، وہ اللہ سے اس حال میں ملے گا کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ جو لے کر آئے اس پر ایمان رکھتا ہو۔ ہائے افسوس! ہائے افسوس! ایک قوم گزری اور ہدایت پانے سے پہلے مر گئی، وہ سمجھتے رہے کہ وہ ایمان لائے ہیں حالانکہ وہ بے خبری میں شرک کرتے رہے۔ یقیناً جو گھروں میں ان کے دروازوں سے آیا وہ ہدایت پایا، اور جو غیر راستے سے گیا اس نے ہلاکت کی راہ لی۔ اللہ نے اپنے امر کے ولی کی اطاعت کو اپنے رسول کی اطاعت سے جوڑا اور اپنے رسول کی اطاعت کو اپنی اطاعت سے جوڑا۔ پس جس نے اولی الامر کی اطاعت چھوڑی اس نے نہ اللہ کی اطاعت کی نہ اس کے رسول کی۔ اور وہ یہ ہے کہ جو اللہ عزوجل کی طرف سے نازل ہوا اس کا اقرار کرو۔ "ہر مسجد کے پاس اپنی زینت لو،" [7:31] اور ان گھروں کو تلاش کرو جنہیں اللہ نے بلند کرنے اور اس میں اپنا نام ذکر کرنے کی اجازت دی ہے۔ [24:36] پس اس نے تمہیں بتایا کہ یہ "وہ مرد ہیں جنہیں کوئی تجارت اور خرید و فروخت اللہ کی یاد اور نماز قائم کرنے اور زکوٰة ادا کرنے سے غافل نہیں کرتی — وہ اس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس میں دل اور آنکھیں الٹ جائیں گی۔" [24:37] بے شک اللہ نے رسولوں کو اپنے امر کے لیے چن لیا، پھر انہیں اپنے ڈرانے والوں میں اس کے ماننے والے بنا کر چن لیا۔ پس فرمایا: "اور کوئی امت نہیں مگر اس میں کوئی ڈرانے والا آیا۔" [35:24] گمراہ ہوا وہ جس نے جہالت اختیار کی اور ہدایت پائی اس نے جس نے بصیرت اور عقل سے کام لیا۔ اللہ عزوجل فرماتا ہے: "یقیناً آنکھیں اندھی نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ وہ دل اندھے ہوتے ہیں جو سینوں میں ہیں۔" [22:46] اور وہ کیسے ہدایت پائے جسے بصیرت نہیں، اور وہ کیسے بصیرت پائے جو غور نہیں کرتا؟ اللہ کے رسول اور ان کے اہل بیت کی پیروی کرو، اللہ کی طرف سے نازل شدہ کا اقرار کرو اور ہدایت کے آثار کی پیروی کرو — یقیناً وہ امانت اور تقوی کی نشانیاں ہیں۔ اور جان لو کہ اگر کوئی شخص عیسیٰ ابن مریم علیہا السلام کا انکار کرے اور باقی تمام رسولوں کا اقرار کرے تو وہ مومن نہیں ہے۔ مینار تلاش کر کے راستے کی پیروی کرو، اور پردوں کے پیچھے سے آثار تلاش کرو — تم اپنے دین کا معاملہ مکمل کر لو گے اور اپنے پروردگار اللہ پر ایمان لاؤ گے۔

Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, from the one who mentioned it, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Layli, from his father, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws having said: ‘You all will not be becoming righteous until you are recognising, nor will you be recognising until you are ratifying, nor will you be ratifying until you are submitting to four doors, the first not being correct except with its last one. They strayed, the companions of the three, wandering with a far wandering. Allah^azwj Blessed and High does not Accept except for the righteous deeds nor does Allah^azwj Accept except for the loyalty with the stipulation and the Covenants. So the one who is loyal to Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic with His^azwj Stipulation and works upon what is described in his Covenant, would attain what is in His^azwj Presence, and He^azwj would Complete whatever He^azwj Promised him. Allah^azwj Blessed and High Informed the servant with the ways of the Guidance and Legislated for them the beacons in these, and Informed them how they should be travelling, so He^azwj Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:20#h82"><a href="/books/quran:20#h82">[20:82]</a></a> And I am Forgiving to him who repents and believes and does righteous deeds, then follows the right Guidance</span>’. And he^asws said: ‘But rather, Allah^azwj Accepts from the pious. So the one who fears Allah^azwj with regards to what He^azwj Commanded him, would meet Allah^azwj as a believer in whatever Muhammad^saww came with. Alas! Alas! Lost were a people and they died before they were guided, and they were thinking that they had believed, and (but) they had associated (committed Shirk) from (an aspect) they were not knowing. It is so, that the one who comes to the houses by their doors is guided, and the one who takes to something else has travelled the road of annihilation. Allah^azwj Linked the obedience to a Master of His^azwj Command with the obedience to His^azwj Rasool^saww, and the obedience to His^azwj Rasool^saww with obedience to Him^azwj. So the one who neglects the obedience to a Master of the Command would have neither obeyed Allah^azwj nor His^azwj Rasool^saww, and it is the acknowledgement with whatever was Revealed from the Presence of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:7#h31"><a href="/books/quran:7#h31">[7:31]</a></a> O Children of Adam! Take to your adornments at every Masjid</span>. And seek out <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h36"><a href="/books/quran:24#h36">[24:36]</a></a> houses which Allah has Allowed to be Exalted and that His Name may be Mentioned in them</span>. So He^azwj informed you that these are <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h37"><a href="/books/quran:24#h37">[24:37]</a></a> Men whom neither merchandise nor selling diverts from the Remembrance of Allah and the keeping up of Prayer and the giving of Zakat; they fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes shall be overturned</span>. Allah^azwj had Selected the Rasools^as for His^azwj Command. Then He^azwj Selected them^as Ratifying with that in His^azwj Warning, so He^azwj Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:35#h24"><a href="/books/quran:35#h24">[35:24]</a></a> and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them</span>. He strayed, the one who was ignorant; and he was guided, the one who had insight and intellect. <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:22#h46"><a href="/books/quran:22#h46">[22:46]</a></a> For surely it is not the eyes that are blind, but blind are the hearts which are in the chests</span><span class="bTxt">.</span> And how can he be guided, the one who does not have insight, and how can he have insight, the one who does not ponder? Follow Rasool-Allah^saww and the People^asws of his^saww Household, and be acknowledging with whatever has been Revealed from the Presence of Allah^azwj, and follow the Ahadeeth of the Guidance, for they^asws are the signs of honesty and piety, and know that if a man was to deny Isa^as Bin Maryam^as and accepts the ones besides him^as from the Rasools^as has not believed. Navigate the road by seeking the beacons, and seek it from behind the veil of the ‘الْآثَارَ’ Signs (Ahadeeth), you would be completing the matter of your Religion and you would be believers in Allah^azwj, your Lord^azwj’.
