سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا يَقُولُ أَقْرَبُ مَا يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ هُوَ سَاجِدٌ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ اسْجُدْ وَ اقْتَرِبْ .

میں نے الرضا علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: 'بندہ اللہ عزوجل کے سب سے قریب اس وقت ہوتا ہے جب وہ سجدے میں ہو، اور یہی اللہ عزوجل کا فرمان ہے: «اور سجدہ کرو اور قریب ہو جاؤ» [۹۶:۱۹]۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Washha who said, ‘I heard Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The servant cannot happen to be (any) closer to Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic than when he is performing <span class="iTxt">Sajdah</span>, and these are the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:96#h19"><a href="/books/quran:96#h19">[96:19]</a></a> and make obeisance and get closer (to Allah)</span>’.
