سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِذَا قَامَ الْمُصَلِّي إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ مِنْ أَعْنَانِ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى أَعْنَانِ الْأَرْضِ وَ حَفَّتْ بِهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَ نَادَاهُ مَلَكٌ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ هَذَا الْمُصَلِّي مَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَا انْفَتَلَ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے یونس سے، انہوں نے یزید بن خلیفہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے سنا کہ جب نمازی نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہوتا ہے تو آسمان کے کناروں سے زمین کے کناروں تک اس پر رحمت نازل ہوتی ہے، فرشتے اسے گھیر لیتے ہیں اور ایک فرشتہ اسے پکار کر کہتا ہے: اگر یہ نمازی جانتا کہ نماز میں کیا ہے تو وہ کبھی نماز سے نہ پھرتا۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Yazeed Bin Khalifa who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘When the praying one stands for the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>, the Mercy Descends upon him from the horizons of the sky to the horizons of the earth, and the Angels surround him, and an Angel Calls out: ‘Had this praying one known what is in the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>, he would not turn around (finish)’.
