قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَتَى أُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ فَقَالَ صَلِّ الزَّوَالَ ثَمَانِيَةً ثُمَّ صَلِّ الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ صَلِّ سُبْحَتَكَ طَالَتْ أَوْ قَصُرَتْ ثُمَّ صَلِّ الْعَصْرَ .

میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: 'ظہر کی نماز کب پڑھوں؟' آپ نے فرمایا: 'زوال کے وقت آٹھ رکعت پڑھو، پھر ظہر پڑھو، پھر اپنی سبحہ پڑھو چاہے لمبی ہو یا مختصر، پھر عصر پڑھو۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Dareeh Al Muharby who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘When shall I pray Al-Zohr?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Pray eight (<span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span>) of <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> then pray Al-Zohr. Then pray your Optional, prolonging or shortening, then pray Al-Asr’.
