سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَفْضَلِ مَا يَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قَالَ أَفْضَلُ مَا يَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ طَاعَةُ اللَّهِ وَ طَاعَةُ رَسُولِهِ وَ طَاعَةُ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) حُبُّنَا إِيمَانٌ وَ بُغْضُنَا كُفْرٌ .

میں نے ان سے علیہ السلام پوچھا: اللہ عزّ و جلّ کے قریب ہونے کا سب سے افضل ذریعہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "اللہ عزّ و جلّ کے قریب ہونے کا سب سے افضل ذریعہ اللہ کی اطاعت، اس کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی اطاعت، اور صاحبانِ امر کی اطاعت ہے۔" ابو جعفر علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: “ہماری محبت ایمان ہے، اور ہم سے بغض کفر ہے۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the most superior of what the servant can be near to Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic with. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The most superior of what the servants can be closer to Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic with is the obedience to Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, and obedience to His<sup>azwj</sup> Rasool<sup>saww</sup>, and obedience to the Master of the Command (<span class="iTxt">Ul Al-Amr</span>)’. Abu Ja’far<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Love for us<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> is the <span class="iTxt">Eman</span> and hatred for us<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> is the disbelief’.
