قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْأَوْصِيَاءُ طَاعَتُهُمْ مُفْتَرَضَةٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ هُمُ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَ أَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ وَ هُمُ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّما وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ وَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَ يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكاةَ وَ هُمْ راكِعُونَ .

محمد بن یحیی، احمد بن محمد بن عیسی سے، محمد بن خالد برقی سے، قاسم بن محمد جوہری سے، حسین بن ابی الاعلیٰ سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: "کیا اوصیاء کی اطاعت واجب ہے؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: "ہاں۔" وہ وہی ہیں جن کے بارے میں اللہ، عز و جل، نے فرمایا: "اللہ کی اطاعت کرو اور رسول کی اطاعت کرو اور تم میں سے صاحبانِ امر کی۔" اور وہ وہی ہیں جن کے بارے میں اللہ، عز و جل، نے فرمایا: "تمہارا ولی تو صرف اللہ ہے اور اس کا رسول اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے، جو salat قائم کرتے ہیں اور zakat دیتے ہیں جبکہ وہ رکوع میں ہوتے ہیں۔"
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Khalid Al Barqy, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad Al Jowhary, from Al Husayn Bin Abu Al A’ala who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The successors<sup>asws</sup>, is obedience to them<sup>asws</sup> a necessity?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes. They<sup>asws</sup> are the those for whom Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:4#h59"><a href="/books/quran:4#h59">[4:59]</a></a> O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those in authority from among you</span>; and they<sup>asws</sup> the ones for whom Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:5#h55"><a href="/books/quran:5#h55">[5:55]</a></a> But rather, only Allah is your Guardian and His Rasool and those who believe, those who keep up the Prayers and pay the Zakat while they are bowing</span>’.
