سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ السَّمْعُ وَ الطَّاعَةُ أَبْوَابُ الْخَيْرِ السَّامِعُ الْمُطِيعُ لَا حُجَّةَ عَلَيْهِ وَ السَّامِعُ الْعَاصِي لَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ وَ إِمَامُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ تَمَّتْ حُجَّتُهُ وَ احْتِجَاجُهُ يَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى يَوْمَ نَدْعُوا كُلَّ أُناسٍ بِإِمامِهِمْ .
اردو
علی بن ابراہیم، محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، یونس بن عبد الرحمن سے، حماد سے، عبد الاعلیٰ سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "سننا اور اطاعت کرنا بھلائی کے دروازے ہیں۔ جو سن کر اطاعت کرے اس کے خلاف کوئی حجت نہیں، اور جو سن کر نافرمانی کرے اس کے حق میں کوئی حجت نہیں۔ اور مسلمانوں کے امام کے لیے، اللہ عزوجل سے ملاقات کے دن اس کی حجت اور اس کی دلیل پوری ہو جاتی ہے۔" پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: "اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: ‘جس دن ہم ہر گروہ کو اس کے امام کے ساتھ بلائیں گے۔’"
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus Bin Abdul Rahman, from Hammad, from Abdu A’ala who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The listening and the obeying are the doors of the goodness. The obedience listener, there is no argument against him, and the disobedient listener, there is no argument for him; and the Imam<sup>asws</sup> of the Muslims would complete his<sup>asws</sup> proof and his<sup>asws</sup> argumentation on the Day he<sup>asws</sup> meets Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:17#h71"><a href="/books/quran:17#h71">[17:71]</a></a> The Day when We will Call all human beings with their Imam</span>’.
