سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْواهِهِمْ قَالَ يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا وَلَايَةَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ قُلْتُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى وَ اللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ قَالَ يَقُولُ وَ اللَّهُ مُتِمُّ الْإِمَامَةِ وَ الْإِمَامَةُ هِيَ النُّورُ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِهِ وَ النُّورِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْنا قَالَ النُّورُ هُوَ الْإِمَامُ .

احمد بن ادریس نے، حسین بن عبید اللہ سے، انہوں نے محمد بن الحسین اور موسیٰ بن عمر سے، انہوں نے حسن بن محبوب سے، انہوں نے محمد بن الفضیل سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے روایت کی۔ کہا: میں نے ان سے اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ کے قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: 'وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ اللہ کے نور کو اپنے منہ سے بجھا دیں' [61:8]۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: 'وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام کی ولایت کو اپنے منہ سے بجھا دیں۔' میں نے کہا: اللہ تعالیٰ کا یہ قول: 'اور اللہ اپنا نور پورا کرنے والا ہے'۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: 'اس کا مطلب ہے: اللہ امامت کو پورا کرنے والا ہے؛ اور امامت وہی نور ہے۔' اور یہ اللہ عزوجل کا فرمان ہے: 'اللہ پر، اس کے رسول پر اور اس نور پر ایمان لاؤ جو ہم نے نازل کیا' [64:8]۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: 'نور وہی امام ہے۔'
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Al Husayn Bin Ubeydullah, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn and Musa Bin Umar, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:61#h8"><a href="/books/quran:61#h8">[61:8]</a></a> They are intending to extinguish the Light of Allah with their mouths</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They are intending to extinguishing the Wilayah of Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> by their mouths (by talking against it)’. I said, ‘The Words of the Exalted <span class="ibTxt">but Allah will Complete His light</span>’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And Allah<sup>azwj</sup> will Complete the Imamate; and the Imamate, it is the Light (النُّور), and these are the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:64#h8"><a href="/books/quran:64#h8">[64:8]</a></a> Therefore believe in Allah and His Rasool and the Light which We have Sent down</span>’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Light (النُّور), it is the Imam<sup>asws</sup>’.
