قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَسْئَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ قَالَ الذِّكْرُ مُحَمَّدٌ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ نَحْنُ أَهْلُهُ الْمَسْئُولُونَ قَالَ قُلْتُ قَوْلُهُ وَ إِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَ لِقَوْمِكَ وَ سَوْفَ تُسْئَلُونَ قَالَ إِيَّانَا عَنَى وَ نَحْنُ أَهْلُ الذِّكْرِ وَ نَحْنُ الْمَسْئُولُونَ .

میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: '[قرآن ۱۶:۴۳]: پس اگر تم نہیں جانتے تو اہل ذکر سے پوچھو۔' فرمایا: 'الذکر محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہیں، اور ہم ان کے اہل ہیں جن سے پوچھا جائے۔' اس نے کہا، میں نے کہا: 'اللہ کا قول [قرآن ۴۳:۴۴]: اور یہ یقیناً تمہارے اور تمہاری قوم کے لیے ذکر ہے اور عنقریب تم سے پوچھا جائے گا؟' فرمایا: 'اس سے ہمیں مراد لیا ہے، اور ہم اہل الذکر ہیں، اور ہم وہ ہیں جن سے پوچھا جائے۔'
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Awrama, from Ali Bin Hassan, from his uncle Abdul Rahman Bin Kaseer who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:16#h43"><a href="/books/quran:16#h43">[16:43]</a></a> so ask the People of the Reminder if you do not know</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Al-Zikr (The Reminder) is Muhammad<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, and we<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> are his<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> people, the ones<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> to be asked’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘His<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Words <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:43#h44"><a href="/books/quran:43#h44">[43:44]</a></a> And it is a Reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned</span>?’ He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘It Means us<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, and we<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> are the <span class="iTxt">Ahl Al-Zikr</span> (The People of the Reminder), and we<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> are the ones to be asked’.
