الحسین بن محمد الاشعری، عن معلیٰ بن محمد، عن احمد بن محمد بن عبداللہ، عن علی بن محمد النوفلی، عن ابو الحسن، صاحب العسکر، علیہ السلام، نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا: اسمِ اعظمِ اللہ تہتر حروف پر مشتمل ہے۔ اس کا ایک حرف آصف کے پاس تھا، تو اس نے اس کے ذریعے کلام کیا، اور اس کے لیے زمین پھٹ گئی، اس کے اور سبا کے درمیان جو کچھ تھا؛ پھر اس نے بلقیس کا تخت اٹھا لیا یہاں تک کہ اسے سلیمان کے پاس لے آیا۔ پھر زمین ایک پلک جھپکنے سے بھی کم وقت میں دوبارہ پھیل گئی۔ اور ہمارے پاس اس کے بہتر حروف ہیں، جبکہ ایک حرف اللہ کے پاس ہے، جسے اس نے علمِ غیب میں اپنے لیے مخصوص کر رکھا ہے۔

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from Ali Bin Muhammad Al Nowfaly, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan^asws, the owner of the army, said, ‘I heard him^asws saying: ‘The Magnificent Name of Allah^azwj are seventy three letters. One letter was with Asif (Bin Barkhiyya^as, successor^as of Suleyman^as). So he^as spoke with it, and the land was folded for him, in what was between him^as and Saba (Sheba). So he^as grabbed the throne of Bilquis until it came to be to Suleyman^as. Then the earth extended back in less than the blink of an eye. And with us^asws, from it, are seventy-two letters, and one letter is in the Presence of Allah^azwj, Accounting by it in the Knowledge of the unseen’.
