سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ السِّلَاحِ فِينَا مَثَلُ التَّابُوتِ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَيْثُمَا دَارَ التَّابُوتُ دَارَ الْمُلْكُ فَأَيْنَمَا دَارَ السِّلَاحُ فِينَا دَارَ الْعِلْمُ .

علی بن ابراہیم، اپنے والد سے، ابن ابی عمیر سے، محمد بن السکین سے، نوح بن دراج سے، عبداللہ بن ابی یعفور سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “ہمارے درمیان ہتھیار کی مثال بنی اسرائیل میں تابوت کی سی ہے۔ جہاں کہیں تابوت جاتا، بادشاہت بھی وہاں جاتی؛ پس جہاں کہیں ہمارے درمیان ہتھیار جاتا ہے، علم بھی وہاں جاتا ہے۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muhammad Bin Al Sukeyn, from Noah Bin Darraj, from Abdullah Bin Abu Yafour who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘But rather an example of the weapons among us<sup>asws</sup> is an example of the Ark among the Children of Israel. Wherever the Ark went to, the Kingdom went. So wherever the weapons go to among us<sup>asws</sup>, the Knowledge would come along with it’.
