قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فِيها يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ يَقُولُ يَنْزِلُ فِيهَا كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ وَ الْمُحْكَمُ لَيْسَ بِشَيْئَيْنِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ وَاحِدٌ فَمَنْ حَكَمَ بِمَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ اخْتِلَافٌ فَحُكْمُهُ مِنْ حُكْمِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ مَنْ حَكَمَ بِأَمْرٍ فِيهِ اخْتِلَافٌ فَرَأَى أَنَّهُ مُصِيبٌ فَقَدْ حَكَمَ بِحُكْمِ الطَّاغُوتِ إِنَّهُ لَيَنْزِلُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ إِلَى وَلِيِّ الْأَمْرِ تَفْسِيرُ الْأُمُورِ سَنَةً سَنَةً يُؤْمَرُ فِيهَا فِي أَمْرِ نَفْسِهِ بِكَذَا وَ كَذَا وَ فِي أَمْرِ النَّاسِ بِكَذَا وَ كَذَا وَ إِنَّهُ لَيَحْدُثُ لِوَلِيِّ الْأَمْرِ سِوَى ذَلِكَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ عِلْمُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الْخَاصُّ وَ الْمَكْنُونُ الْعَجِيبُ الْمَخْزُونُ مِثْلُ مَا يَنْزِلُ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ وَ لَوْ أَنَّ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلامٌ وَ الْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍ ما نَفِدَتْ كَلِماتُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ .

اور اس سند کے ساتھ، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: اللہ، عزت و جلال والا، نے لیلۃ القدر کے بارے میں فرمایا: "اس میں ہر حکیمانہ امر کو جدا کر دیا جاتا ہے۔" وہ فرما رہے ہیں: ہر حکیمانہ امر اس میں نازل ہوتا ہے، اور فیصلہ کن امر دو چیزیں نہیں؛ بلکہ وہ ایک ہی چیز ہے۔ پس جس نے اس چیز کے مطابق فیصلہ کیا جس میں اختلاف نہیں، تو اس کا فیصلہ اللہ، عزت و جلال والے، کے فیصلے سے ہے؛ اور جس نے ایسے امر کے مطابق فیصلہ کیا جس میں اختلاف ہو، اور خود کو درست سمجھا، تو اس نے طاغوت کے فیصلے کے مطابق فیصلہ کیا۔ بے شک لیلۃ القدر میں امور کی توضیح ہر سال ولی الامر کی طرف نازل ہوتی ہے۔ اس میں اسے اپنے معاملے کے بارے میں یوں اور یوں حکم دیا جاتا ہے، اور لوگوں کے معاملات کے بارے میں یوں اور یوں۔ اور اس کے علاوہ، ولی الامر کے لیے ہر دن اللہ، عزت و جلال والے، کا خاص، مخفی، عجیب، محفوظ علم بھی ہوتا ہے، اس جیسا جو اس رات امر میں نازل ہوتا ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے تلاوت کی: “اور اگر زمین میں جتنے درخت ہیں وہ سب قلم بن جائیں، اور سمندر، اس کے بعد سات اور سمندر اس کی مدد کریں، تو بھی اللہ کے کلمات ختم نہ ہوں گے۔ بے شک اللہ غالب، حکمت والا ہے۔”
Translation
And by this chain, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Said regarding the Night of Pre-determination (<span class="iTxt">Laylat Al-Qadr</span>) <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:44#h4"><a href="/books/quran:44#h4">[44:4]</a></a> Therein every wise affair is made distinct</span>. He<sup>azwj</sup> is Saying that He<sup>azwj</sup> Sends down every wise affair during it, and the Decisive, it isn’t with two things, but rather it is one thing. So the one who judge with what there isn’t any differing, so his judgment is from the Judgments of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, and the one who judges by a matter wherein is a differing, and he views that it is correct, so he had judged with a judgment of the false god (Taghout)’. It descends during the Night of Pre-determination (<span class="iTxt">Laylat Al-Qadr</span>) to a Master of the Command<sup>asws</sup>, the explanation of the affairs of the year, (every) year. He<sup>asws</sup> is Commanded during it regarding the matter of his<sup>asws</sup> own self with such and such, and regarding the affairs of the people with such and such, and it comes anew for the Master of the Command<sup>asws</sup>, besides that every day, Knowledge of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, the Special, and the Concealed, the Wonderful, the Treasured similar to what descended during that Night, from the Commands’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> recited <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:31#h27"><a href="/books/quran:31#h27">[31:27]</a></a> And were every tree that is in the earth pens and the sea (to supply it with ink), with seven more seas to increase it, the Words of Allah would not come to an end; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise</span>’.
