قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَيَّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ مَوْضِعُ الْبَيْتِ حَيْثُ كَانَ الْمَاءُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ كانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْماءِ قَالَ كَانَ مَهَاةً بَيْضَاءَ يَعْنِي دُرَّةً .
اردو
میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول میں جہاں پانی تھا وہاں بیت اللہ کا مقام کیا تھا کہ اس کا عرش پانی پر تھا؟ آپٔ نے فرمایا: 'وہ ایک سفید مہاۃ تھی، یعنی ایک موتی۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Muhmmad Bin Imran Al Ijaly who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Which thing was the place of the House (Kaaba) where was the water in the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:11#h7"><a href="/books/quran:11#h7">[11:7]</a></a> and His Throne was upon the water</span>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It was a white ‘<span class="iTxt">Mahaat</span>’, meaning a gem’.
