مَعْنَى يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُمَا أَيْ لَا يَخْلُوَانِ وَ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَهُمَا ثَالِثٌ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Hammad, from Aban Bin Usman, (It has been narrated) raising it to one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) having said: ‘The meaning of ‘effecting separation between the two)’, i.e.. They both should not be together without there happening to be a third person along with them’.
