Translation

Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz Bin Abdullah, from Zurara who said, ‘I said to Abu Ja’farasws, ‘The exclamation of <span class="iTxt">Takbeer</span> during the days of Al-Tashreek (11th, 12th & 13th Zilhajj) at the end of the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>. So heasws said: ‘The <span class="iTxt">Takbeer</span> in Mina is at the end of fifteen <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s; and in the rest of the cities, is at the end of ten <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s; and the first <span class="iTxt">Takbeer</span> at the end of <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> Al-Zohr on ‘يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ’ the day of the sacrifice, one should be saying in it, ‘Allahazwj is the Greatest! Allahazwj is the Greatest! There is no god except for Allahazwj, and Allahazwj is the Greatest (beyond description). Allahazwj is the Greatest (beyond description). And for Allahazwj is the Praise. Allahazwj is the Greatest upon what Allahazwj having Guided us. Allahazwj is the Greatest upon having Graced us over the animals, the cattle’. And rather, it has been Made to be, in the rest of the cities, at the end of ten <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s because, when the people leave during the first leaving, the people of the cities withhold from the exclamation of <span class="iTxt">Takbeer</span>, and the inhabitants of Mina would exclaim <span class="iTxt">Takbeer</span> for as long as they are in Mina up to the departure of the later ones’.
