قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) خُذْ بِيَدِي مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ لَنَا بَعْدَكَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ غُلَامٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا صَاحِبُكُمْ فَتَمَسَّكْ بِهِ .

احمد بن مہران، محمد بن علی سے، عبد اللہ القلاء سے، الفیض بن المختار سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ (عليه السلام) سے کہا: مجھے آگ سے بچا لیجیے؛ آپ کے بعد ہمارے لیے کون ہے؟ پھر ابو ابراہیم (عليه السلام) ان کے پاس داخل ہوئے، اور اس وقت وہ ایک لڑکے تھے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: 'یہ تمہارے صاحب ہیں، پس ان سے مضبوطی سے وابستہ رہو۔'
Translation
Ahmad Bin Mihran, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Abdullah Al Qala’a, from Al Fayz Bin Al Mkhtar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Take my hand out from the fire, who would be for us after you<sup>asws</sup>?’ So Abu Ibrahim<sup>asws</sup> (7<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) came over to him<sup>asws</sup>, and he<sup>asws</sup>, in those days, was a boy. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This one<sup>asws</sup> is your master<sup>asws</sup>, therefore attach yourselves to him<sup>asws</sup>’.
