قُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ ( عليه السلام ) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنِّي قَدْ كَبِرَ سِنِّي فَخُذْ بِيَدِي مِنَ النَّارِ قَالَ فَأَشَارَ إِلَى ابْنِهِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ هَذَا صَاحِبُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي .

احمد بن مهران نے محمد بن علی سے، محمد بن سنان اور اسماعیل بن عباد القصرى سے، دونوں نے مل کر داؤد الرقی سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو ابراہیم (علیه السلام) سے کہا: “میں آپ پر قربان، میں عمر میں بہت بوڑھا ہو چکا ہوں، لہٰذا مجھے آگ سے بچا لیجیے۔” انہوں نے فرمایا: پھر انہوں نے اپنے بیٹے ابی الحسن (عليه السلام) کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا: “یہ میرے بعد تمہارا صاحب ہے۔”
Translation
Ahmad Bin Mihran, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Muhammad Bin Sinan and Ismail Bin Abbad Al Qasary, altogether from Dawood Al Raqqy who said, ‘I said to Abu Ibrahim<sup>asws</sup> (7<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! I have aged a lot, so take my hand out from the fire’. So he<sup>asws</sup> gestured towards his<sup>asws</sup> son<sup>asws</sup> Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, and he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This one<sup>asws</sup> is your Master<sup>asws</sup> after me<sup>asws</sup>’.
