Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘The one who comes across some wealth, or a camel in the wilderness from the earth which was exhausted and its owner had abandoned from what he did not pursue it, so someone else finds it and stands to look after it and spends expenditure until he revives it from the exhaustion and from the death, so it is for him, and there is no way for him (the previous owner) upon it. But rather it is like the ownerless thing’.
