محمد بن یحییٰ اور الحسن بن محمد، دونوں نے مل کر، جعفر بن محمد الکوفی سے، وہ الحسن بن محمد الصیرفی سے، وہ صالح بن خالد سے، وہ یمان التمار سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے کہا: ہم ابو عبد اللہ (عليه السلام) کی خدمت میں بیٹھے تھے، تو انہوں نے ہم سے فرمایا: “بے شک اس امر کے صاحب کے لیے ایک غیبت ہوگی؛ جو شخص اس میں اپنے دین کو مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھے گا وہ گویا قتاد کے کانٹے دار جھاڑ کو ہاتھ سے صاف کرنے والا ہے۔” پھر انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اس طرح اشارہ کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: “تم میں سے کون اپنے ہاتھ سے قتاد کے کانٹے پکڑ سکتا ہے؟” پھر انہوں نے کافی دیر سر جھکائے رکھا، پھر فرمایا: “بے شک اس امر کے صاحب کے لیے ایک غیبت ہوگی، پس بندے کو چاہیے کہ اللہ سے تقویٰ اختیار کرے اور اپنے دین کو مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھے۔”

Translation

Muhammad Bin yahya and Al Hassan Bin Muhammad, altogether from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Kufy, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Al Sayrafi, from Salih Bin Khalid, from Yaman Al Tammar who said, ‘We were seated in the presence of Abu Abdullah^asws, so he^asws said to us: ‘For the Master^asws of this command there would be an Occultation. Being attached to his^asws Religion would be like entering into the thorny bush’. Then he^asws said: ‘Like this!’ – by his^asws hand. So, which one of you would like to touch a branch of thorns?’ Then he^asws was silent for a while, then said: ‘For the Master^asws of this command there would be an Occultation, so let a servant fear Allah^azwj and let him attach with his^asws Religion’.
