الْجَارِيَةُ الْبِكْرُ الَّتِي لَهَا أَبٌ لَا تَتَزَوَّجُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ أَبِيهَا وَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَتْ مَالِكَةً لِأَمْرِهَا تَزَوَّجَتْ مَتَى شَاءَتْ .
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, form Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abu Maryam, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The old girl who has a father for her, cannot get married without the permission of her father’. And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If she was in control of her affairs, she can get married whenever she so desires to’.
