اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ اتَّبَعَ هَواهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدىً مِنَ اللَّهِ قَالَ يَعْنِي مَنِ اتَّخَذَ دِينَهُ رَأْيَهُ بِغَيْرِ إِمَامٍ مِنْ أَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَى .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، احمد بن محمد سے، ابن ابی نصر سے، ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، اس قول کے بارے میں: اللہ، عز و جل، کے بارے میں: “اور اس سے بڑھ کر گمراہ کون ہے جو اللہ کی طرف سے ہدایت کے بغیر اپنی خواہش کی پیروی کرے؟” آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: “اس سے مراد وہ شخص ہے جو اپنے دین کو اپنی رائے بنا لے، ہدایت کے ائمہ میں سے کسی امام کے بغیر۔”
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Abu Nasr, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al Hassan<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:28#h50"><a href="/books/quran:28#h50">[28:50]</a></a> and who is more erring than he who follows his own desires without any Guidance from Allah?</span><span class="iTxt">. </span>He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It means the one who takes his opinion as his Religion without an Imam<sup>asws</sup> from the Imams<sup>asws</sup> of the Guidance’.
