: "سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَ: ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، مِنْهَا الْوِتْرُ وَرَكْعَتَانِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، وَلَوْ كَانَ فَضْلًا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَعْمَلَ بِهِ وَأَحَقَّ".

عبداللہ ابن المغیرہ نے عبداللہ ابن سنان سے روایت کی، جو ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے رمضان کے مہینے میں نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: تیرہ رکعتیں، جن میں وتر اور فجر کی نماز سے پہلے دو رکعتیں شامل ہیں۔ اگر یہ کوئی اضافی فضیلت ہوتی تو رسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم اس پر زیادہ عمل کرتے اور اس کے زیادہ مستحق ہوتے۔
Translation
Hadith.1966 - Abdullah ibn al-Mughira narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan, who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the prayer during the Month of Ramadan. Imam (as) said: 'Thirteen rak'ahs, including the witr prayer and two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer. If there were any additional merit, the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) would have been more diligent in performing it and more deserving of doing so.'"
