«إِذَا كَانَ نَاسِياً فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ صَلاَتُهُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ مُتَعَمِّداً فَلْيَسْتَغْفِرِ اَللَّهَ وَ لاَ يَعُدْ.

ابو بصیر نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو جمعہ کے دن غسل چھوڑ دیتا ہے، بھول کر یا جان بوجھ کر، اور انہوں نے فرمایا: اگر وہ بھول گیا ہو تو اس کی نماز مکمل ہے۔ لیکن اگر وہ جان بوجھ کر چھوڑے تو اسے اللہ سے معافی مانگنی چاہیے اور دوبارہ نہ کرے۔
Translation
Hadith.242 - Abu Basir asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who neglects the Jumu’ah ritual bath (ghusl) either forgetfully or intentionally. Imam (as) said: 'If he was forgetful, his prayer is valid. But if he did so intentionally, then he should seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) and not repeat it.’
