سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ: "إِذَا أَقَرَّ اَلْمَمْلُوكُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالسَّرِقَةِ لَمْ يُقْطَعْ وَ إِنْ شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِ شَاهِدَانِ قُطِعَ".

5130 - الحسن ابن محبوب نے ابو ایوب سے، الفضل ابن یسار سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو کہتے سنا: "اگر غلام خود چوری کا اقرار کرے تو اس کا ہاتھ نہیں کاٹا جائے گا؛ لیکن اگر دو گواہ اس کے خلاف گواہی دیں تو اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا۔"
Translation
Hadith.5130 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abu Ayyub from Al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who said: I heard Abu Abdullah (as) say: "If a slave confesses to theft, his hand is not to be cut off. However, if two witnesses testify against him, his hand is to be cut off."
