: "إِنَّمَا جُعِلَتِ اَلْقَسَامَةُ لِيُغَلَّظَ بِهَا فِي اَلرَّجُلِ اَلْمَعْرُوفِ بِالشَّرِّ اَلْمُتَّهَمِ فَإِنْ شَهِدُوا عَلَيْهِ جَازَتْ شَهَادَتُهُمْ".

موسى ابن بکر نے زرارہ سے، جو ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، بیان کیا: قسامہ صرف اس لیے مقرر کی گئی تاکہ بدنام اور مشتبہ شخص پر سختی کی جا سکے۔ اگر وہ اس کے خلاف گواہی دیں تو ان کی گواہی قبول کی جاتی ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.5178 - Musa ibn Bakr narrated from Zurarah from Abu Abdullah (as), who said: "The practice of Qasamah (the collective oath) was established to impose severity upon a man known for evil and who is suspected. If they testify against him, their testimony is accepted."
