"نَعَمْ فِي اَلْجِرَاحَاتِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ اَلثُّلُثَ سَوَاءً فَإِذَا بَلَغَ اَلثُّلُثَ سَوَاءً اِرْتَفَعَ اَلرَّجُلُ وَ سَفَلَتِ اَلْمَرْأَةُ".

جميل اور محمد بن حمران نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا کہ کیا عورت اور مرد کے درمیان قصاص ہوتا ہے؟ انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: "ہاں، زخموں میں، ایک تہائی تک برابر ہیں۔ پھر جب یہ ایک تہائی تک پہنچ جائے، تو مرد بلند ہوتا ہے اور عورت کم ہو جاتی ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.5240 - Jamil and Muhammad ibn Humran asked Abu Abdullah (as) about whether qiṣaṣ (retaliation in kind) applies between a woman and a man. Imam (as) replied: "Yes, in cases of wounds (jirahat) up to one-third of the compensation, they are equal. However, once it reaches one-third, the man's compensation increases, and the woman's compensation decreases."
