الْحَسَن بْن مَحْبُوب نے ہِشَام بْن سَالِم سے روایت کی، جو ابو مریم الأنصاری سے، جو ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں: دو مردوں کے بارے میں جو مل کر ایک شخص کا ہاتھ کاٹ دیتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: "اگر وہ چاہے کہ دونوں کے ہاتھ کاٹے جائیں تو اسے چاہیے کہ دونوں کو ایک ہاتھ کی دیہ ادا کرے اور وہ اسے آپس میں تقسیم کر لیں، پھر وہ دونوں کے ہاتھ کاٹ سکتا ہے۔ اور اگر وہ چاہے تو وہ ان سے اپنے ہاتھ کی دیہ لے سکتا ہے۔ پھر اگر وہ ان میں سے کسی ایک کا ہاتھ کاٹ دے تو جس کا ہاتھ نہیں کاٹا گیا اس کو چاہیے کہ جس کا ہاتھ کاٹا گیا ہے اسے دیہ کا ایک چوتھائی ادا کرے۔"

Translation

Hadith.5354 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Hisham ibn Salim, who narrated from Abu Maryam Al-Ansari, who narrated from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) regarding two men who together cut off the hand of another man. Imam (as) said: "If the victim wishes to cut off their hands, he must first pay them the compensation for one hand, which they will then divide between themselves, and afterward, he may cut off both of their hands. However, if he wishes, he may take the compensation for his hand from them. If he cuts off the hand of only one of them, then the one whose hand was not cut off must pay a quarter of the compensation to the one whose hand was cut off."
